Heating & Cooling

Through our combined experience from the industry together with knowledge in thermodynamics, we know for sure how to utilize the vessels’ various systems for energy transfer between consumers. The image below represents a ship’s Pre & Reheating system where waste heat from auxiliary engines is utilized and heats the ship’s HVAC unit. By supplying waste heat from the engines, the need for fuel-demanding steam heating is reduced. In summer mode, the system switches to cool the brine to the HVAC units from LNG.
